Faith in Caregiving: Overflow with Thankfulness
An attitude of gratitude and thankfulness

Veronica Badowski, a dedicated contributor to our "Faith in Caregiving" series, inspires us to embrace faith in caregiving and cultivate an overflowing sense of thankfulness. In the midst of the challenges that caregivers often face, Veronica draws inspiration from Colossians 2:7 in the New Living Translation

Colossians 2:7

"Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."

 MEDITATION

When we feel discouraged and overwhelmed, praying, studying the Word and focusing on Jesus’ love are good ways to start feeling better. Sometimes it seems impossible to overflow with thankfulness as the verse suggests. Yet, if we ask the Holy Spirit for help and cooperate with Him, we begin to learn how. Today, let’s remember to praise the Lord and be thankful for even His smallest blessing.
