Ready Hands Home Care is a non-Medicare home care agency that was founded in 2002 by an internal medicine physician. The agency operates out of offices in Alexandria and Manassas, VA and serves Fairfax, Arlington and Prince William counties and surroundings.

The company exclusively uses W-2 employees (no independent contractors), all of whom are Certified Nurse Aides. Ready Hands has provided in home assistance and elderly care services to hundreds of clients over the years.

The agency’s caregiver services include assistance with all personal care, safety supervision, companionship and socialization, meals, medication administration, transportation to appointments and more.

Services are available at competitive rates on either a live-out or live-in basis. Ready Hands is licensed by the Virginia Department of Health and meets standards designed to protect consumers.

Ready Hands offers these specific additional advantages to its clients and families:

* Background and reference checks on all home care aides.

* Initial free consultation by one of our full-time registered nurse supervisors.

* Opportunity to approve and/or interview aide(s) at no expense prior to initiating care.

* No requirement to give advance notice of cancellation. Our relationships with clients are built on meeting our commitments, not on legal contracts.

* Assignment of the same primary aide for each client.

* 24/7 friendly and responsive office and management staff. Our clients can reach a supervisor directly and immediately at any time. No answering service delays.
Some of Ready Hands’ clients mainly require a home companion for socialization, errands, safety supervision, meals and household tasks.

Others are profoundly disabled and need total care, sometimes including tube feedings, the use of specialized mobility aides or other advanced modalities. Some may even be receiving end of life care under a hospice program.

The company manages all such situations, finding just the right C.N.A. for each client, regardless of the level of need. Each case is carefully supervised by one of Ready Hands’ full-time registered nurses.
